The scope is set after reviewing the company’s activity and current records. The agreed work may include:
Day-to-day bookkeeping

Management reporting
Regular reports for monitoring financial performance and the company’s balances.
Annual reporting
Preparing financial data and documents for applicable ACRA requirements.
Corporate income tax
Preparing accounting data and tax computations for applicable ECI and Corporate Income Tax Returns.
GST
Accounting for GST transactions and preparing GST returns for GST-registered companies.
Payroll
Calculating employee payments and preparing related accounting data within the agreed scope.
Who it is for
Accounting built around your company
The scope depends on transactions, filing obligations, and the condition of the records rather than an industry label.
- Operating company: ongoing bookkeeping and a reporting calendar.
- New company: setting up accounting after registration and organising documents.
- GST-registered business: separate control of GST transactions and filing periods.
- International structure: recording multi-currency transactions and reconciling the Singapore company’s data.
Getting started
How we organise accounting support
- Define the task. We record the financial year, activity, transaction volume, employees, and GST status.
- Review the inputs. We assess documents, the state of the accounts, and returns already filed.
- Agree the scope. We set the work list, document handover process, and reporting calendar.
- Run the ongoing process. We process documents and prepare the agreed reports and calculations.
Reporting calendar
What tasks arise during the year
| Period | Possible tasks | What determines the scope |
|---|---|---|
| Ongoing | Accounting entries, reconciliations, management reports, and payroll | Number of transactions, bank accounts, currencies, and employees |
| Each GST period | GST accounting and preparation of the GST return | GST registration and the nature of transactions |
| After the financial year end | Financial statements, annual return, and ECI | Company type, financial year, and applicable exemptions |
| Annually | Form C-S, Form C-S (Lite), or Form C | The company’s eligibility and tax circumstances |
The filing set and deadlines cannot be determined from the company name alone. We check whether each task applies before work begins.
Initial assessment
What we need to estimate the scope
Accurate input helps us determine regular work and any catch-up accounting required.
- financial year end date;
- business activity and approximate transaction volume;
- number of bank accounts and currencies;
- number of employees and payroll needs;
- GST status and filing period;
- latest completed reports and available documents.
Pricing
Fees depend on the actual scope
We do not apply rates or tax parameters from other countries to a Singapore engagement. Fees are set after reviewing transactions, documents, filing obligations, and the condition of the accounts.
The proposal records the agreed work and communication process. Catch-up accounting is assessed separately from ongoing support.

Questions about accounting support
What can accounting support include?
It may include day-to-day bookkeeping, management and annual reporting, tax calculations, GST work, and payroll. The exact scope is set after reviewing the company.
Does every company need to file a GST return?
No. GST returns apply to GST-registered companies. The company’s status and transactions must be checked first.
What filings may be required by ACRA and IRAS?
Depending on the circumstances, these may include financial statements and an annual return for ACRA, as well as ECI and one of the Corporate Income Tax Return forms for IRAS. Eligibility and exemptions are checked separately.
Can work start if the accounts are incomplete?
Yes, after assessing the documents. We first determine the catch-up period and workload, then agree the transition to ongoing support.
What determines the fee?
Transaction complexity and volume, bank accounts and currencies, employees, GST status, reporting frequency, and the condition of previous accounts.
